Jadwiga McKay has been writing and sharing her poetry from the islands of Greece to the grids of the Midwest and the mountains of the Carolinas. Her work weaves a tapestry combining the rhythms of nature with the heartbeats of history. She has curated and emceed arts events. She has been featured in several poetry series including MadHat Poetry, Wordfest, Poetry Cabaret, Saginaw’s First Fridays, and Bay City’s Art Walk.

Jadwiga has a B.A. from Saginaw Valley State University in International Studies with a minor in Sociology. She has studied in Greece. She currently lives in Hendersonville, North Carolina with her husband, Liam, and dogs, Budzyk and Pepper.
